PolyU CPCE Scholarships and Studentships (for 2023/24 Cohort)

For Full-time and Part-time Students of 2023/24 Intake Cohort

All students of PolyU SPEED programmes leading to a degree awarded by PolyU, no matter full-time or part-time, may get scholarships of up to a total of HK$60,000 (admission and progression scholarships of up to HK$45,000 + other curricular and co-curricular scholarships of up to HK$15,000).

Admission Scholarship for Full-time Students

Progressing Scholarship for Full-time Students

GPA ≥ 3.3 upon completion of Year-1 study on a normal study load (excluding summer term) in the respective full-time programmesHK$15,000 awarded during Year Two of study

Admission Scholarship for Part-time Students

Award GPA ≥ 2.8 in previous sub-degree study

(a) 4-year part-time students: HK$21,000 awarded during Year One of study

(b) 3-year part-time students: HK$21,000 awarded during Year One of study


Progressing Scholarship forPart-time Students

GPA ≥ 3.3 upon completion of (a) Year-1/Year-2/Year-3 study (in the case of 4-year part-time students) or (b) Year-1/Year-2 study (in the case of 3-year part-time students) – on a normal study load (excluding summer term) in the respective part-time programmes

(a) 4-year part-time students: HK$8,000 (x 3), awarded during Years 2, 3 and 4 of study respectively

(b) 3-year part-time students: HK$12,000 (x 2), awarded during Years 2 and 3 of study respectively


Lifelong Learning Studentship for Full-time Students

Lifelong Learning Studentship for Part-time Students

For Full-time and Part-time Students of All Intake Cohorts

Outstanding Co-curricular Achievement Scholarship

Demonstrated track records of active participation in sports, co-curricular activities or performing arts and continuously striving for improvement and excellence in the past 2-3 yearsHK$5,000 in around June each year

Top Student Award

RequirementHow Much and When
Completed study programme within the normal period of registration and attained the highest Award GPA among students of the same cohort and programmeHK$5,000 in around October each year

Learning Support Fund

Subsidies related to learning support for students having financial difficulties or being struck by disasterUp to HK$5,000 in around June each year
